Instructions

1. Cutting the hair weft you purchased

a) Cut hair weft to match tape length EXACTLY.

Cut ONE 9” piece of hair weft

Cut THREE 9.5” pieces

Cut ONE 8.5” piece

Cut ONE 7” piece

Cut ONE 5.5” piece

Cut ONE 3.5” piece

b) You should now have 8 pieces total.

c) Carefully order the pieces from the bottom to the top row.

2. Attaching the pre-cut hair weft to the cap

Start with the 3.5” piece at the BOTTOM of the cap.

Peel the paper off the BOTTOM row of tape.

Attach the 3.5” piece of hair, making sure the top of the hair weft covers the tape.

Once in place, PRESS FIRMLY.

Repeat process for all rows. Remember to only remove the paper off one piece of tape at a time, and always work your way from the bottom to the top of the cap. The very top row of the cap should be your last step in this process.

3. Separating the hair on your head

We recommend you view our video tutorial.

Pile about ½ your hair on top of your head. Start at the temple and part the hair ear to ear. Use a clip to keep this hair out of the way.

There are two possible ways to wear your new customized one-piece extension. You can either leave the bottom ½ of hair down, OR pin it up so that it is flat to the head.

4. Clipping the ‘Custom Clip-In’ into your own hair

(Before you begin, practice using the clips. Make sure the clips that you are going to use are open.)

METHOD 1: If you left the bottom ½ of your hair down, simply attach only the top 3 clips of the “Custom Clip-In.” Start with the middle clip and attach it just below the section you piled on top of your hair. Attach the left and right clip, making sure they are equally spaced from the middle and at the same level. (Only the top 3 clips should have been opened. The other 4 clips should have been closed prior to clipping the extension in.)

OR

METHOD 2: If you pinned the bottom ½ of your hair to your head, use all 7 clips. Prior to starting, make sure all 7 clips are open. Start with the middle clip and attach it just below the section you piled on top of your hair. Attach the left and right clip, making sure they are equally spaced from the middle and at the same level. After the top 3 clips are firmly in place, attach the bottom 2 clips at your nape. Once the bottom 2 clips are firmly in place, attach the remaining 2 clips behind your ears.

Simply style your hair to blend in your customized extension. Now you are truly glamorous and ready to Rock & Roll!

TIPS:

Once you have taped all the layers of the hair weft, you can cut any excess hair from the edges of the cap. If any sections of the cap have exposed tape, you can simply press an unused piece of hair weft in that area.

Be sure you pressed the top of the each hair weft firmly into the tape.

Feel free to have your new hair cut by your beautician.

CAUTION: Tape needs 72 hours to fully cure. Do not pull on, or style hair within the first 72 hours. It is best to leave hair on a flat surface for the first 72 hours.

Never put heat directly on tape sections of cap.
